Ordering & Payment 5 questions

What payment methods does NexEV accept?

We accept UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit and credit cards, net banking, and Razorpay wallet via our secure checkout. All transactions are processed through Razorpay. GST invoices are included with every order.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No minimum for retail orders — you can order a single item. Bulk/wholesale pricing tiers start at 5 units. For dealer or distributor accounts, contact service@nexev.in.

Do you provide GST invoices?

Yes. Every order includes a GST invoice. Our GSTIN is 29AALCN2942C1ZF (NexEV Private Limited, Karnataka).

Can I place a bulk or wholesale order?

Yes. Bulk pricing is available on all products from 5 units. For larger orders or dealer accounts, email service@nexev.in with your requirements and we'll respond with a quote within 48 hours.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Orders can be modified or cancelled before dispatch. Once shipped, cancellation is not possible. Contact service@nexev.in immediately with your order number.

Shipping & Delivery 5 questions

Does NexEV ship pan-India?

Yes. We ship to all Indian states via Speed Post and Delhivery within 2 business days of order confirmation.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched within 2 business days of confirmation. Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location. Metro cities (Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad) are usually faster.

Which courier services do you use?

We ship via India Post Speed Post and Delhivery. Tracking details are shared by email once dispatched.

Do you offer express or same-day delivery?

We do not currently offer same-day delivery. Express options may be available for select pincodes — contact us before placing your order.

Is shipping free?

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on order weight and delivery pincode. Orders above a threshold may qualify for free shipping — check the shop for current promotions.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we ship within India only. International shipping is not available at this time.

What is a BMS and do I need one for my battery pack?

A Battery Management System (BMS) protects your Li-Ion cells from overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, and short circuit. It is essential for any lithium battery pack — operating a Li-Ion pack without a BMS is a safety risk. NexEV offers 1S 3A, 2S 8A, and 3S 10A BMS boards suitable for small EV and backup power applications.

Which kit should I choose — Kit A, Kit B, or Kit C?

Kit A (1S, ₹249) is for single-cell 3.7V applications like sensors and small devices. Kit B (2S, ₹349) builds a 7.4V pack suitable for small motors and power tools. Kit C (3S, ₹549) produces 11.1V/12V — ideal for e-bike lights, backup power, and small robotics. Each kit includes BMS, charger, nickel strip, wire, and insulation.

Are the products compatible with standard 18650 cells?

Yes. All NexEV components — nickel strips, cell holders, BMS boards, and chargers — are designed for standard 18650 cylindrical lithium cells. They are also compatible with 21700 cells where dimensions allow.

What is the HSN code for NexEV products?

Nickel strip: HSN 7506. Silicone wire: HSN 8544. Kapton tape: HSN 3919. Insulation paper: HSN 4802. BMS boards: HSN 8542. Connectors: HSN 8536. Chargers: HSN 8504.

Do the products come with warranty?

Products are covered against manufacturing defects. Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for damaged or defective items after inspection. See our Return Policy for full details.

What is the difference between the nickel strip and insulation barley paper?

Nickel strip is the conductor — it connects cells in series or parallel via spot welding. Insulation barley paper sits between cells and on top of cell terminals to prevent short circuits. Both are needed for a safe battery pack build.

Returns & Refunds 3 questions

What is NexEV's return policy?

We accept returns only for products that arrive damaged or are dead on arrival (DOA). Returns must be raised within 7 days of delivery with photo/video evidence. See the full Return Policy page for the step-by-step process.

How long does a refund take?

Refunds are processed to the original payment method after physical inspection of the returned item. UPI refunds take 2–3 business days; card and net banking refunds take 5–7 business days from initiation.

What if I receive the wrong item?

Contact service@nexev.in with your order number and a photo of what was received within 7 days. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Can I get help choosing the right components for my project?

Yes. Email service@nexev.in with a brief description of your project (voltage, current, cell count, use case) and we'll recommend the appropriate BMS, charger, and accessories.

Do you offer assembly services?

We currently sell components for self-assembly. Assembly tutorials and guides are available on our website. For custom or bulk assembled packs, contact us to discuss requirements.

Are your products BIS certified?

NexEV sources components from verified suppliers and complies with applicable Indian standards. For BIS certification queries or to understand compliance for specific applications, email service@nexev.in.
